I’m not sure why we’re angry, coz we all have a time to go
For Julie-Dawn that time had come but why we’ll never know
She had something that we hate! And still we have no cure
Yet in terms of years it took someone so young and very pure
We know that Julie-Dawn suffered through the days and through the nights
But she always had her family’s support right throughout her plight
She’s resting now with no more suffering in a quiet peaceful place
Where my old Mum and my old Dad have saved a special place
They’ll be looking down upon us now saying you have no need to worry
Coz, Bobby’s just gone down the shop to buy us all a curry
Things are not much different here, than where you are today
Except the bouncers on the gates are Ron and Reggie Kray
So we’re as safe as houses here and really happy to
D ’you know what you don’t even have to queue
So when uncle Bob gets back we’ll sit and talk of you
But not with any sadness coz we don’t have to queue

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
